Pilipinas, an interdisciplinary journal for Philippine Studies began in 1980 as a publication of what was then known as the Philippine Studies Committee of the AAS.
Over the years, it has found a home in various academic institutions beginning with the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In 2003, the journal was managed by the Philippine Studies Association of Australia; the last issue was published in 2006. After several years of discussion, the PSG unanimously voted in 2011 to end the publication of this storied journal. All inquiries regarding Pilipinas should be directed to Paul Rodell firstname.lastname@example.org.
